Rave of Hope

The youth dance performance HOPE, by dance theatre AYA, toured high schools across the Netherlands to inspire young people with questions surrounding hope. What does hope mean, and how can we maintain hope during challenging times? During the Rave of Hope workshops in the classrooms, we prepared the students for the performance. A mix of visual arts and dance sparked meaningful conversations. Additionally, we created flags that were later incorporated into the performance.

HOPE was an energetic and bold performance that invited and challenged young people to reflect on the concept of 'hope' in an increasingly uncertain world. It's a performance about how we can shape our own futures by taking action.
