Beyond Building
An exhibition in the shape of a house.
After doing research and development for The Exploded View Materials & Methods I stayed attached to Biobased Creations. Together with a big team from all kinds of disciplines we created a life size house made from circular and biobased materials, methods and stories. First shown at Dutch Design Week, later traveling to various other vanues such as Floriade and Camp C.
The installation shows what’s already possible in sustainable construction and tells visitors all about how this is changing the world. Truly building sustainably means that you have to consider an entire chain.

Biobased Creations is an organization of creatives, researchers and performers who want to help shape the search for a new value system using storytelling and imagination. In their various projects, they advocate a practical ethical dialogue with all stakeholders of society in order to really take those next steps towards a more sustainable future for people, nature and the city.
